Hi,

today i got my redemption for an Angus Campbell C56 PSA graded 6 from this years ITG Ultimate.

When i opened the letter i saw that it is graded PSA 6 (MC).

I am usually not a fan of these miss cut cards and am a little bit unhappy as the redemption told it is for a PSA 6 card.

Now the question.
Would you say PSA 6 (MC) is as good as a regular PSA 6 or worse?

I also would like to know if these miss cut cards count in the pop report.
Because there are only two others of this one which graded higher.
But i don`t know if they count the MC cards in this statistic.

I would be very thankfull for your answers.

The PSA population report keeps qualified cards in a separate column, i.e. PSA 6 and PSA 6Q are different grades and populations.

'High-grade' qualified cards do not sell nearly as well as unqualified. In terms of the PSA registry, they are considered to be -2 grades from the base. Your PSA 6 (MC) would count as a PSA 4 in a registered C56 set.

It is not "as good" as a regular PSA 6, however, still a nice card. If possible it would help to see a scan so we know how bad the cut is.

I am a little disapointed to see something like this, but even if it was a regular PSA 4, it would be better then most of the ITG Ultimate cards you would have received in it's place.

From the PSA population report, there are only 57 graded Angus Campbell's total, with only one graded 6 (MC) and only 12 non-qualified cards graded above 4. I don't know how long ITG had this project in the works, but they may have gotten the best option available, especially considering the competition within the PSA registry.

Thank you for your answers.
I will post a scan tommorow.

I am a little bit disappointed from ITG as they wrote that the redemption is for a PSA 6.

I didn`t pull the card by myself i bought it from the bay to upgrade my set.
If i would have know this before i wouldn`t have paid that much.
