I won a card off ebay tonight that I have been trying to get for a while. Pretty decent BIN on the non redeemed version of the card so I bit, and seeing as how there is a redemmed version I don't think I will be waiting months for Upper Deck to send it out.

Question is, I asked the selelr to just email me the code seenig as how it's the bust season for mail I figured I can save a couple weeks. Anyone ever do this? Do you recommend doing this? The seller has 3000+ feedback and not a neg for over a year. What do you guys think?

A lot of people do that. But I am old fashion and I need it in my hand.It took me a long time to trust bank machines as well.Like talking to those tellers.
Thanks,Winston.

I do it very often especially if it's a rare card. I mean if the feedback is legit usually it's safe.. I have done it for all my SPGU Sig Sticks /5, I don't want to take a chance of the card getting lost in the mail and then the card is completely gone..

not a bad idea, but seller may not agree since you could eASILY file a chargeback and he wouldnt have a leg to stand on since he didnt send you anything. yu could maybe ask him to email you the code, but mail you the card with DC. If it wasnt a high dollar purchase e may not care, but if it was, ask him about this.

Whenever I'm s.uckered into buying a redemption card I almost always ask the seller to email the code to me. It's much easier for both the buyer and the seller.

He said he would email it and also send me the card, which is fine. I paid the shipping for the card cause he probly feels safer that way. Thanks guys.
