I have not done any e-pack stuff. But I noticed that today that there must have been a big difference on how difficult
it was to get the gold versions from 2016-17 as compared to the gold version in 2017-18. I was checking on COMC and
for myself wanting a copy of Scottie Upshall the 2016-17 is $30.00 and yet the 2017-18 is only $3.00. So were the
2016-17 that much more difficult to obtain to justify a 10X more in value for a common player.Just curious is all. Thanks, Winston.

Are you referring to Compendium? If so, yes 16/17 was much harder.

If I recall correctly, here's the breakdown:

16/17 Compendium:

10 base = 1 blue
5 blue = 1 red
5 red = 1 gold

So basically, 250 base make up a gold

17/18:

10 base = 1 blue
10 blue = 1 gold

So in this case, 100 base make up a gold. A bit of a difference. Hope that helps.

I did some of the 16-17 Compendium Golds,(they took 250 to make), the next year was 100 for a Gold but it wasnt worth it to me. Not sure what they are this year but its probably not worth the hassle,(guys want an arm & a leg for a single card that you can do nothing with) You have to have at least 10 before you can do anything with it
