Question about local clubs

Do any of you have any local collecting clubs that you belong to? I'd like to start one in my area but I'd like to get a few ideas from people who are involved in one. I'd like to have a few perks to the club like free admission to the monthly show, or maybe free tables where members could sell items, maybe a trade night at a different shop each month, donations for giveaways to kids, etc. Does anything like this exist in your area? This would be for collectors only (no dealers, shop owners) so I'm trying to think of ideas that would benefit everyone. Create more traffic at shows and shops and also allow local collectors to meet and deal with each other.

Depending on what you mean with "local". We have a Finnish club Korttifriikit and we have 2-3 times a year a card expo that is free to access, but has professional dealers too.
