Morning folks, just have a question I need answered about the Parkie reprint cards. I'm looking at building the 300 card set. Cards 1-150 were in 01-02 Parkhurst packs and cards 151-300 were in 02-03 Parkhurst packs. There were other releases as well, 92-93 and 93-94 Parkhurst, i'm not interested in them for now. Here is my question, did they release an Update series? I ask because I have several cards numbered above 300 but none above 350. I'm thinking maybe they did a 50 card update set. I need confirmation on this from some of my knowledgable board co-horts.
Any help will be appreciated.
Cheers.
Dan.

First I have heard of it and I have been working on the set for quite a few years now. Can you give us an example of a card and player that is above 300? I am wondering if this another example of something that was perhaps planned but never released and the few example copies that were made went out the back door with all the other treasures when ITG was sold off.

Guys, I was checking on Sportlots yesterday and they have cards from 301-350
Not sure what this means,lol.
Cheers.

I still strongly expect that an update was probably planned to include all the original Parkhurst cards missed in the first 300. However, ITG had to cease releasing cards with the NHL Logos on them right around that time frame so there may have been a demo run that sat in the ITG warhouse collecting dust until liquidation day almost a decade later. Some people got rich off of those surplus ITG and BAP cards before Dr Price had to step back in and produce Final Vault. Perhaps someone at Sportlots can explain to you how they got their hands on them.

I asked a question of a seller on Sportlots, he has all fifty cards listed. He said he got them directly from Parkhurst/In the Game . They were a set that never got publicly released.

That pretty much confirms what I suspected.
