I was lucky enough to hit one of the Fossil and Artifacts redemptions out of my Parkhurst Champions boxes. Card doesn't say for which artifact it is being redeemed for, as I'm guessing they couldn't guarantee which ones were going to be made. Saw on the UD blog that they had starting putting them together, so I gave UD a call to see if/when I may be able to find out which card I`d be getting. I was told that I would have to take a replacement, as according to CS, they are unable to send the cards across the border to the Great White North as they constitute biological specimens. I don`t recall seeing that disclaimer anywhere, so I was less than impressed. I was wondering if this was an issue with the previous releases offering these cards, never really paid much attention to them before pulling mine. I asked them if possible to send me one of the historical coin cards, thinking that may get around the issue. We`ll see what happens, but it sure was a buzzkill after pulling it let me tell you.

I don't think they've ever been able to send fossils to Canada due to the reason they mentioned. Hope you get the coin though, I'd prefer that anyway to some bone.

It's always been that way. I pulled one as well and immediately sold it to a US member here. Your other option is to have it redeemed by a US resident

Or you can ask a 'trusted" HI US member to redeem it for you and have them forward it to you once it has been received.

The same issues came up with the Goodwin Champions baseball entimology (insects) cards where they wouldn't send to Canada. I actually went on to the government website and found the list of restricted insects and none of the names matched up exactly with any on the restricted list. Further to this I asked someone who works for CBSA and they said that as long as it's dead, there usually isn't an issue.
Also it's my understanding (I may be wrong) that they're not actually pieces of bone, they're fossil, which confuses me as to why there would be any issue.

interesting as we had 2 of those cards pulled in the store.. I will have to follow-up on that.

but I did have the champ's redemtions make it here.

I redeemed one I pulled from Champ's a few years ago and received it. I pulled one from Parkhurst Champions and redeemed it as well, so I better receive it.

You may want to call back and talk to the manager. You got some bad information. I know the Bug cards had legal issues but the fossil cards have always been able to be shipped internationally.

i called the ud company today and spoke with an employee who told me that the parkhurst fossils ans artifacts redemption cards would be made and that they would be shiped to canada.
