Question for people waiting for replacements from Panini...

Has anyone received an email saying that their replacements were going to be further delayed by another 2-3 weeks?

I originally received a notice that replacements would be sent out in 1-2 weeks (on June 27). Then, on July 23, I received a "please allow an additional 2-3 weeks" note.

I understand they are busy, but I REALLY hope they are not just trying to buy more time so that they can send me the original Freshman Fabrics I asked for replacements for. As soon as it was confirmed I would be receiving replacements, I sold the partial Freshman Fabrics sets I was working on, and don't want a few odd players that are virtually worthless to me as a collector. :|

Has anyone else received any of their replacements? Were they what you'd consider fair? I know the 'other guys' are hit or miss...
 
I talked to a customer service rep from Panini the other day and she told me that all the recent delays were b/c of employee turnover and the person taking care of all the redemptions and replacements was in the hospital. She told me my replacement should be arriving in 2-3 weeks as well.
 
Yep, short staffed. Once they confirm that you want replacements the original card is no longer an option.
