Here is the senario
vintage set from early 60's, complete but every card has tape marks across the top and bottom. What % would this drop the value of the set in your opinion? Is it easier to overlook because it is a complete set?

Depends on how bad the tape marks are. Like all cards it will come down to the key star player in the set. These cards hold the value so base your value around the tape marks on these. Is the tape marks on the front, back or both? Hard to place a value without seeing the cards or with all the details but I would value them about 25% (at best) of the value of the same card without the tape marks. Possibly even less.

it's the 62-63 Parkhurst set, I looked at a few of the cards and the backs looked really clean. I didn't check the overall condition too hard, had a hard time looking at the tape marks. The set is in a binder and you can spot the yellowed tape marks a few feet away
