Hi,

I always loved this set. I currently have a LaFleur, Howe, and Dionne RC. Don't have the Dryden or any CLs, or any base (maybe a Flyer or 2). How much money do you think would this take to complete? Any help rocks. Thanks,

JD

depends on condition. decent sets get $500+. if you want unmarked cl and high grade cards you looking at an easy $1000-$1500 or more. i recomend buying complete sets or partial sets as buying the cards in singles will be costly

If your looking for the unmarked #111 checklist in exmt- nmt it'll cost you aprox.$500+ just for that card!!It could get very costly..I a decent Dryden's up around $250-$300..

Yeah, on 111 I'm gonna have to settle for whatever I can get. I've never tried a vintage set before, but I love it. It really stands out from the rest of the 70's sets. I also love 68/69 OPC, but that's a bit too much $$ for me.
Do vintage cards sell for closer to BV than modern cards, in general?

71-72

Hey there

This too is my favourite alltime set. You might want to consider putting together the 71-72 Topps version of this set. It has 132 cards, includes the Dryden RC (125.00) and CL #111 (60.00) ..plus Orr, Howe, Hull etc. It also has 6 league leader cards that are not available in the OPC set (cards 1-6 with Orr, Espo, Plante, etc)

You can pick up some great 71-72 Topps lots on ebay cheaply ..and I find that the card cut and centering is way better than the 71-72 OPC version.

Good luck with the collecting ..Rob
