Hi guys,

I recently found some used tickets to a Brampton Battalion game and I thought it would be real neat to mail it to the Avalanche for Matt Dushene to see if he would sign it.

I have never sent out anything to a player before but I know they would want an unsealed self addressed envelope so they can return it.

Since COL is in the states and I am in Canada, I presume I would need American stamps? I am not sure where I would get it and what is the amount of postage for just a Plain old white envelope?

any advise would be appreciated.

Will

you can go to USPS and I believe purchase postage which you can then print out

you can do the same with UPS or FedEx

Or you can send the tix to someone in the states and see if they can do the autograph..then have them returned to you....shoot me a pm if you would like to go that route

You would need US stamps.

As a heads up, the Avs are terrible through the mail. They have team postcards that come back with pretty much all the requests, I'm not sure players even see them.

Postage from USA to Canada in a PWE with a couple of cards is 75c.

And yes, the Avs players are terrible TTM.

I got Matt last year through Brampton. He has an agent, you could mail it there.

Pat Brisson is his agent. Here's the address:

i find it is just easier for me to obtain us stamps from my parents when i am sending across borders, and yes the Avs are very bad TTM, but you do get a nice post card auto's. better than the mtl canadians, or the leafs i might add. this year i have gotten 2 outta the 34 i have sent out so far, i made a rookie error with the deviils, forgot the check my address and had 2 returned to sender, lol.o rememebr to always check the team address.
