I went to print a international label from ShipStation tonight that is going to Canada from the USA and it would not let me send a label straight to the buyer in Canada. It is making me send it to a sorting address in NJ. Does anybody know anything about this Global Advantage Program? Since it is going to NJ first, does this method take longer to get to the buyer as opposed to directly sending it to the buyer?

Yes, definitely opt out especially if you are shipping almost exclusively to Canada as your primary non-USA location.

The OP is not asking about GSP.

I use stamps.com and all of my int'l orders go through a shipping center in NJ, as well. It saves a little bit of money. I haven't noticed that much of a delay. It's been in effect for a couple of years. I forget the logistics of this change, but I'm sure it's online somewhere.
