Questions about UD Ultimate

Hey guys, I am looking through my wantlist and I have some questions about the UD Ultimate gold parallels. I've noticed the only ones to have come up for the most part are the non-auto cards. So, I checked Beckett's online checklists, and those with auto RC's in ultimate have Autographed Patches /25. However, I don't think they necessarily "look" like the base counterparts, despite having the same set numbering on the back.

So, my questions are, should these be considered parallels, and can anyone post pics of the cards they have? If possible, both the base set and the auto patch.

From what it looks like all years except 04-05 have it.

I've never heard of Gold in Ultimate. Which cards are you talking about?

As for the /25 RPA in Ultimate, I guess by the definition they don't constitute as rookies, but that's just one person's definition. I personally would consider it a rookie and you should make your own decision whether it is or not. The RPA /25 in Ultimate are one of the most sought after cards every year.

I believe the UD Ultimate Rookie Patch AU #/25 cards are numbered to the BASE RC set cards (#/99, #/299, #/399 and #/599) and therefore would be considered parallels. The ONLY year the GOLD #/25 were made was 2005/06!
Also the the SP Authentic Limited Patch #/100 cards are parallels of the BASE RC set #/999 but cards were produced of some the regular BASE card set! Some are limited to 25 copies.

Yeah, I have the SPA FW ARP's on my list, but most of them are /100. The Ultimate ARP's are /25 and thus gonna be a much bigger pain to find. Thanks for the help.

I collect UD Ultimate pretty heavily and only 05/06 has gold versions that I am aware of. Both the base set and un-autographed rookies had a gold parallel version that is out of 25. The autographed rookies all had the patch/auto parallel out of 25. Personally I consider them all to be RCs, but that is just me. Both are VERY hard sets to put together, I have been working on the non-patch gold rookies for years now. I believe I just saw someone on the board here selling a complete set of the patch/autos /25. If you need any of the regular gold rookies, I have a few doubles kicking around I could part with. Hope this helps.
