Terrible news, condolences to his family. The NHL has moved on from the tough guy era but don't ever make the mistake of thinking Dave wasn't a huge factor in Wayne's success. Sure Wayne had a boat load of talent but a guy named Semenko afforded him the luxury of being able to flaunt that talent.Simply put, mess with Wayne and deal with Dave.RIP.Dan.
