Sharpen your swords and prepare for battle! Rittenhouse Archives is pleased to announce its latest trading card set from the world of Conan, Conan Movies Autograph Expansion Trading Set! Only 333 sets will be made world-wide and each set comes with 5 autograph cards and 3 character sets. Collectors will find autograph cards from

* James Earl Jones (Thulsa Doom in “Conan The Barbarian”)
* Mako (Akiro The Wizard in “Conan The Barbarian” and “Conan The Destroyer” who passed away in 2006)

While the Swarz auto sounds awesome, there is no way I'm gonna pay $1650+ for it and sell off 9 extra sets. I may go for one set just for the Jones and Mako ones, though.

I've never been a fan of the whole-set-in-a-box concept, but something like this will make me break my own rules!

Moving those sets at breakeven has been a problem...I broke one set, kept the autos and moved the mem cards for $45. I sold another set for $160 and I broke up the third set which I am now selling in pieces. The problem with this is that upon release, these sets are EVERYWHERE. If you have the patience to wait, you'll get your return. With the incentives selling well (Norton $300 and Ferrigno $200ish), I look at it as coming out on top already even with losses on the sets.

10 sets from a distributor might cost me $110 or so each. $1150 for 10 sets AND a Schwarzenegger auto? The Arnold might be a $600 autograph on its own but the other sets might be tough to move. I have two months to decide.
