It's not like the ranger's don't have a history of spending big money for little to no return..

Jagr / Lindros / Redden

believe we only paid half of Jagr's salary and he was great with Straka and Nylander.

that said, hope we keep away from Radulov. 3-4M (if true) is stupid and we already did that experiment with Zherdev (who also ran to the KHL).

A great move I would say, imagine the trade secrets Radulov and Gaborik would share about disappearing acts. What a fountain of knowledge there.

In fairness, Gaborik was playing with a torn labrum in his shoulder since the Ottawa series. He will have surgery and be out for 5-6 months. He didn't produce much but he did play through a painful injury.

Jagr was spectacular in his time on the Rags, and if Im not mistaken Lindros had a 35 or 40 goal year in his short time in NYC (his other years werent bad either).

If you want to name players, get it right

Kovalev, Gomez, Redden.....

(Although Redden has done well helping the D on the Whale develop)

But when Bure did play he was good. We just got him at the wrong time. Radulov I want NO PART OF!!!!

I want Rads as much as I wanted Zherdev. Tremendous potential as long as the price isnt too high.

No he doesnt fit our mold, but we still need guys who can flash some offense, and I think Rads will be a tad cheaper than the other options out there.....

I still say we hold all our chips and bet it all on Parise....
