If they can get him cheap enough (which Im sure wont be a problem considering Rad's other options) then great move by the Rags.

Though personally I would prefer some of the other available names, but I wont complain. Hopefully it will work out better than the Zherdev experiment if it goes down.

rads to the rangers would be great for both sides. preds get compensation and rads goes to the eastern conference so no complaints here.

believe we only paid half of Jagr's salary and he was great with Straka and Nylander.


that said, hope we keep away from Radulov. 3-4M (if true) is stupid and we already did that experiment with Zherdev (who also ran to the KHL).

In fairness, Gaborik was playing with a torn labrum in his shoulder since the Ottawa series. He will have surgery and be out for 5-6 months. He didn't produce much but he did play through a painful injury.

Jagr was spectacular in his time on the Rags, and if Im not mistaken Lindros had a 35 or 40 goal year in his short time in NYC (his other years werent bad either).


If you want to name players, get it right

I want Rads as much as I wanted Zherdev. Tremendous potential as long as the price isnt too high.

No he doesnt fit our mold, but we still need guys who can flash some offense, and I think Rads will be a tad cheaper than the other options out there.....

I still say we hold all our chips and bet it all on Parise.... :beer:
