Hello Hockey Card people, the time has come to have a look see at some more recent PC pickups. I mostly post up my Eddie the Eagle pickups, but now is a good time to show some other goodies....
First up a Spring 2016 Expo pickup, I have been looking for one of these for a long arse time and even offered another collector a sweet Nichushkin card for his copy. But he told me to shove it so I begged Rod (Crankshaft) 3 Expos in a row to sell me his from his set. Thanks dude,much appreciated.
Next up is a mighty fine 2015 Cup Limited Logo, I have picked up a couple of these but this one has a nice patch and is Limited to /25. Cool!
Now time for one that fellow Stars fan hoju71 and I were chatting about the other day,hopefully he made a deal for one. UD BLACK wasn't that bad was it?
UD Ultimate has a lot of Benn cards this year. Lots of low #'d stuff but I was able to scoop up a couple /5. The Jumbo Materials cards are much nicer in person. The foil glistens in the sun like Mr.T's gold bling.
I know everyone comes here to see pickups and boxbreaks, some just come to wheel and deal but I would like to share some of my Dirty Laundry with you guys....
Here's a sweet Laundry Tag from the latest and greatest 2015-16 UD Premier. The seller was from Quebec (across Canada) but this one got here super fast. Maybe he got hooked up with one of those Mexican Weed Bazookas to ship out his packages. Lololol
An oldy but a goodie, I remember when you could get Benn stuff cheap. Ah the good old days.
Next up, a couple Artifacts Blackies from the former Eriksson boss over at C&C. Thanks again bud!
Does anyone else miss Prime? Too bad they took the scissors to a Rookie Year gamer though.
Next up is another Panini Laundry tag. This one features Jumbo Joe, former Pacific Division Rivals. The massive beard would have been a nice addition to this card.
The Dynamic Duo:
hopefully they can both stay healthy this year.
Like I said before, Ultimate has way too many cards this year. Here are a couple more for the dirty laundry pile:
Finally a few weekends ago I was able to meet up with my pal Uncle Joel (JoelCarry) and make a deal for a couple beauts. Joel sure likes The Cup, so whenever he gets one that he knows I would want, we usually make an arrangement to meet up at Maple and stare at the wall, abuse the owner and swap some cardboard. Here is the Laundry Tag /3 with a sweet Canadian Flag chunk.
Glad to add that one as it completes the 2014/15 Cup Rainbow:
