These deserve a Show and Tell...
Even though I do not really collect Marian Gaborik anymore, I still have a strong connection after 18 years of hardcore Gabby collecting.
I really like President's Choice cards because I know Dr. Price's stuff is authentic and some of the best quality cards made. His StickHandle and Butt End stick cards have been some of my favorites recently. So, when the chance to get these next two cards arose, I had to get them.
They are both made from a 2000-01 Minnesota Wild Inaugural Season rookie stick of Gaborik that Dr. Price had. It is the year Gaborik used Nike sticks. He has been a strict Easton guy since. ITG had some Gaborik stick cards using his Nike stick made way back in the early 2000's, but they were small pieces. Most of the later ITG Gaborik cards used Easton stick pieces.
These new cards are super nice. A Stickhandle and a Butt End.

And the Butt End 1/1. I like how they based the image on a photo of a rookie Gabby in his ITECH helmet. Details matter. Upper Deck would've probably used a photo of him in a Kings uniform.
