Recent Baseball Pickups

I am still mainly working on my baseball collection. It seems to be easier to find baseball from U.S. sellers than hockey. As you can see below, I am sticking to pre-2001, hard-signed sets. I hope you enjoy the pickups!

A couple randoms to start. I get excited when I see people list $0.99 cards. I get even more excited when they actually list the combined shipping charges in their auctions. I don't understand why sellers do not list this? I scratch my head every time I even a seller for their combined shipping options, and they come back with $0.25 or FREE... This is great news, list it in your auction!





I absolutely love the pre-sticker Co-Signer Era. Can never have too many Konerko auto's in the collection:



I love the 2000 SPX Set. I thought this one was a steal for $12.50 delivered. One of the best hitters in baseball history:



I completed the 1999 Chirography set a couple years ago. I decided to slowly work on the 2000 and 1998 set. The 1998 set will be the easier of the two, the Ken Griffey Jr being the exception. The 2000 set contains Derek Jeter and a guy named Sandy Koufax. The Koufax will be on the want list for a long time...

Went to the White Plains, NY show for a little bit today. Great turnout due to Henderson and Schilling being amongst the signers.

Picked up a couple cards for my collection. Really wanted to add a 2000 SP Authentic Chirography Sandy Koufax, but couldn't do a Hank Aaron plus $100 for it.

Picked up a couple auto's of prospects on my Fantasy Baseball Team. Bowman's Best auto's are a fraction of the Chrome Auto's:
