***If a mod could move this to the appropriate sub-forum--sorry!**

Let's jump right into it.

The first is one of those great things about non-sports--you never know who will have an auto card out there. Thanks to Triple B for mentioning it, I have now added a Sir Ben Kingsley auto to my collection (from the Thunderbirds set):

This one I picked up purely for trade bait, though I like it enough to maybe keep it. It's a WoM Kitty Pride card by Eduardo Ferrara:

This one may or may not be tradebait--I am considering starting a small X-23 collection and this one popped up on eBay. This MM3 Artist Proof by Jason Martin is a decent start:

For my Catwoman collection, done by Jorge Correa and Magno respectively:

Then come my Rhino cards.

From MM2, a Rhino by Kevin Gentilcore:

From MM3, one by Harwinder Singh:

For Firestar, we have a MM3 card by Dan Schaffer:

This was a card commissioned by another collector by Mark Spears. I traded for it to get the Firestar:

A couple more commissioned cards from Elaine Perna. For those who may have missed previous mail calls, she "specializes" in Family Guy characters. This was my second time getting cards from her. Since she generally does just FG cards, I tried to keep it a little fresh for her. I thought the idea of Herbert as Vulture was funny--a guy who can fly but needs a walker. I also figured he'd love the frilly collar!

And Jake Tucker, a.k.a. Upside-down Face Buy, as Electro.

From Nathan Ohlendorf, the usual Firestar and Rhino:

Commissions from Roger Plude of, yep, you guessed it:

And last but not least, I have no idea how I even came across this, but I'm glad I did. Talk about something strange--some salt and pepper shakers of Rhino and the Hulk. (stole the pic from eBay):

Well that'll be it for 2008--hope everyone has a safe and wonder new year!

Awesome pick ups, Joe! I was stunned to find out Kingsley had an auto and I'm glad we BOTH got one. A signed photo goes for much more than his certified auto does. Can't go wrong with Spiderman and his Amazing Friends! Used to love that show as a kid...
