Replacement Card From Panini

Back when Score launched this year I pulled this

As you can see it was damaged by Huberdeau so I sent it back in. Almost 3 months later I get this

Maybe I'm wrong but I think this is a step backwards, especially considering I had to wait almost 3 months for it

That is just wrong, who would think that is OK? Nothing wrong with some of those players but people love the rookie stuff and that would sell much better.

Thanks for the support guys. Now I feel justified in asking for a better replacement. The best part of this is that when I was told that I wouldn't get the original card back I told them I'd like my replacement to be a Devil but NO Parise or Kovalchuk. Not only did I not get a Devils card but I got a Parise on this lol

The scan doesn't really do it justice, that cornered was damaged and peeled back to the point where it was unmovable. Currently playing phone tag with Panini and optimistic that this will have a happy ending

At least your new card has swatches of Game-used jerseys (a couple of the rookies are photoshoot jerseys)...and not 8 swatches of all photoshoot jerseys. Just me, but I'd rather have the one you got in replacement.

True, but I was getting swamped in offers for that card when I pulled it. No doubt in my mind I could get more for the original card than the replacement. Plus I want nothing to do with Zach Parise ever again haha.

Didn't scan it yet but Panini said it was an honest mistake and sent me my original card back repaired. All the swatches are the same as the original rookie card I pulled
