Hey guys, I just got a text from a reporter friend of mine in San Diego saying UD has a called a small press conference at noon today to announce Richard MacWilliam is stepping down as the chairman of Upper Deck.

He said he sourced around for information and wasn't able to find a whole lot, though he's heard MacWilliam is in hot(ter) water with the IRS over the monnies owed to them by UD, and has been under scrutiny from company shareholders to step down before further damage is done, or to eventually take the fall.

That's all I know, but he sent me an email afterward with a link to this news story though which might provide you guys with a bit more information...

The best April Fools jokes are the ones that are believable because you want them to be so... hence why I fell for this one hard!

Thanks! :)

NHLPA announces that ITG's licenses are renewed.

An NHLPA spokesperson announced today that In The Game, Inc. was granted a three year license to produce hockey trading cards.

"We just couldn't avoid the obvious and longer" he said "they make the best cards, have the best memorabilia, don't do redemptions and care about the hobby"

Dr. Price was not available for comment as he was flying his spacecraft to the moon for the weekend.

Stop by the gift shop when you're on the moon and bring us back something nice, maybe a space sno-globe or some moon-fudge.
