I don't know a lot about Carlisle, basically because I don't watch the Indiana Pacers that much, however I did know about his stint as a Pistons coach, and I say he is fairly good fit for this team, however nothing I think can replace Avery as a coach for the Mavs, he was with those guys as a coach, and as a person and they loved him, it will be tough for Rick to be able to replace that kind of person/coach.
