Decided to plan a spur of the moment 2 day anniversary trip for my wife and I, and one of the stops includes the Baseball game Friday night at Rogers Centre.

I am planning on driving to the stadium and parking, so few questions:

1. Any better places to park than others, and any advice for someone driving there?

2. Anything cool inside the stadium that's a "must" to check out?

3. Any other cool stuff or advice you might have, drop it here.

Thanks

Took my family there a few years ago. Stayed at the Delta hotel about 2 blocks away. Went to a game, Ripley's aquarium, CN Tower, etc. Naturally hit the HHOF too.

Nice stadium. Though, I don't recall any specific "landmarks" to see inside. Roof was closed that night.

Love going to the ball games. Wish I was closer to get to more than one a year.

I know you are planning to drive there and park, I prefer to go to a GO Train station and ride in from there. It is a bit more than the cost of parking but a lot less headache for traffic especially after the game.

Make sure you check our the WestJest Flight Deck if you are there early enough.

"Access to the WestJet Flight Deck is on a first-come-first-serve basis. All you need is a ticket to enter the stadium during the regular season and you can access the deck at no extra charge. That means that even your 500 level tickets allow you and your friends to stroll down and take in the entire game from the 200 level at no extra charge."

Also on the 100 level in the left field corner you can see Jamie Campbell and broadcast partner do their thing.

If you can get down to field level for a moment it is pretty cool to see the AstroTurf up close.

If you collect memorabilia from baseball check out the Jays Shop on the 100 level, they have some pretty reasonably priced items.

If you come from Union Station across the skywalk make sure you tip the lady playing the sax. She isn't very good but she is always there and tries hard. lol

Other than that, just have a blast and enjoy the game.

Go Jays Go.

PS. Ignore this if you went last week. lol
