I know this is the wrong forum for this post but I am so excited that I thought I would post where most of the In The Game followers can be found.

I am extremely proud the Cristiano Ronaldo agreed to sign for our Sportkings brand.

The signing took place in Florida last week and I waited until I received the hard-signed cards before making this announcement.

Please feel free to re-post this in the appropriate category.

I have signed a lot of athletes in my trading card career but this one had really got me excited since I pursued him for the last five years and he finally said yest.

His hard-signed autograph will be in Sportkings Series F.

Pictures of the signing can be found on my blog:

Wow. Any time you can add hard-signed autos of a global superstar to your products it's worth bragging about. Those cards are going to sell HUGE.

Does Ronaldo even have certified autos out there or will these be the first?

Cool. Glad to see some more soccer. Not a big fan, but a big name that others will definitely chase.

The soccer market peaks every four years so anything that gets released around early summer next year is gold to collectors. I would love to see some ITG cards of current USA stars and legends. The Frank Borghi auto is one of the most cherished cards in my collection.

Just saw in a Beckett blurb about the Sportkings signing that they catalog only six different certified Ronaldo autograph cards, with a total print run of 270, and they sell (according to Beckett anyway) for between $500-$1000 on the secondary market.

By today's standards 270 certified autographs are next to nothing, especially when you consider how popular soccer is around the world. There will be a substantial market for these Ronaldo autos and I anticipate them selling extremely well. Signings like this will hopefully help attract more world class athletes to sign for Sportkings as well.

I for one would love to see some certified autos of past and present Formula One drivers in a set like Sportkings. Sebastien Vettel, Michael Schumacher, Lewis Hamilton, Mika Hakkinen, Fernando Alonso, Kimi Raikkonen, etc would appeal to a lot of racing fans I'm sure. Kind of off-topic but since we're talking about Sportkings and signing big name athletes I thought I would put the bug in Brian's ear ;)

There are only a total of 150 autographs, not sure where Beckett got their numbers from, certainly not me.

We just signed David Ortiz and Mariano Rivera for Series F as well.

Brian - I think what the previous poster meant is that there are only 6 existing Ronaldo Autographs, with a combined print run of 270. If you are releasing another 150, that would make it only 420 total on the market.

Congrats on a big signing. That is truly a fantastic score!
