Round 2: Spurs vs. Hornets Thread!

Once again the Hornets are ripping up the Spurs, this time it's by a way bigger deficit however! Let's see if they can hold on for the W or let it slip away!

Was really afraid of this series. Paul is a monster. Hopefully SA can hold serve at home to even it up.

The Hornets have been the biggest surprise throughout the playoffs this year in my opinion so far...

Hornets have been fantastic all year, no reason to be surprised by them. They finished a head of the Spurs so they should beat them. However the series isn't over yet, we will see how the Spurs do at home.

Yeah I was about to say Sigman where you been at? Hornets have been like this all year long, maybe if you weren't busy watching Detroit all the time you'd know that lol

They say a series doesn't start until the visiting team wins on the other's home court. I keep telling myself that, but I just hope SA doesn't get swept.

Got tickets for tonight...but I'm hesitant to go. Seats aren't great and as late as the game will be, that'll be a long drive home if they get blown out again.

They need to win. Valero gives out free coffee after every playoff win. That was 16 free ones last year. So far, we only have 4 this year.

Well the Hornets are going into some hostile territory tonight, I say if they can win in SA tonight, then they sweep the series! If the Spurs blow it out I look for this to go 6/7 games, with Hornets still winning it.

Man...I was biting my fingers to the bone last night. That was too close until the 4th quarter. I was hoping the Spurs would make a statement last night, but they barely hung on for a while.

This is looking a lot like the Dallas series. Two home wins for the Hornets, lose a game on the road, then finish them off by a bunch in the last two.

There's just no answer for Chris Paul. He's playing better than Nash did when he was winning MVP awards.

Sunday is going to be a huge game...

If the Spurs can win Sunday, I'm hoping the inexperience of the Hornets comes in to play. The Spurs have battled through series for years on their way to championships. This is a new experience for the Hornets. I'd be interested to see how they do if it's tied 2-2, or if they're down in a series.

Yeah I guess watching and going to Pistons games has kept me away from watching the other teams all the time lol. To bad my dorm room I was in at school does not get NBA League Pass. I might need to look into getting NBA League Pass online for next NBA season who knows though???

Lakers Home Wins 2 Utah Home Wins 2
Lakers Away Wins 0 Utah Aways Wins 0

Spurs Home Wins 2 Hornets Home Wins 2
Spurs Away Wins 0 Hornets Aways Wins 0

THERE'S A PATTERN IN THE WEST SEMIS!!

The second round has been great to watch, I hope it continues. Anyone else dislike watching the Cav's or is just me? Not sure why but for some reason I just don't like them.

HUGE game tonight...hopefully Byron Scott decides not to double team Duncan again. It worked out real well for them last game.
