Ryan Johansen canvas but no reg young gun

Didn't notice this until someone pointed it out to me but Ryan Johansen has a canvas young gun #C97 but is missing from the checklist of regular issued young guns 201-250,Is it possible to have a parallel of a card that does not exist? or does the parallel become the true rc? In the ud universe anything is possible.

The Canvas really are more of an insert set rather than a parallel anyways.

he may still have a young guns; there's always UD Series 2.

I'm most certain that he will have a young gun in series 2. I just find it strange to have a paralell or "insert set" young gun without having an original young gun being made.

but you think they will put it in the same set as an insert

I noticed it when I first looked at the checklist. The only guess I had is that the canvas cards aren't going to be in series 2.

I believe they are doing Team Canada canvas cards in series two as opposed to more young gun canvas cards. I could be wrong though.
