Sucks to be Taylor Hall and any team that signed a big free agent the last couple seasons expecting growth in the cap every season.

As part of the agreement, the salary cap will be kept close to the current $81.5 million for the next three seasons. There is potential for it to go up $1 million in 2022-23.

From the above, it would appear that it isn't set in stone as of yet.

There is still the matter of the players voting to ratifying it.
