Sam Bennett Rookie Cards

Hey guys,

Just wondering if someone can clear something up for me?

With the news of Sam being recalled by the Flames and him likely to make his debut in the next few days, will he get a full set of rookie cards in 2015-16 products? Or is he going to be one of those guys that only gets a very small amount of true RC's?

They've already passed the cutoff date for 2014-15 products - so even if he makes his debut - it only guarantees that he will be in the first products for 15-16

Bennett will get a full set of RC's in 2015-16 if he plays by the end of the season, he's a top prospect and a Flame, there's now way he'll be left out of any of the products.

Yeah, the cut off date for 2014-15 RCs was roughly January 10th this year. Anyone that debuted after that date is able to receive the full slate of 2015-16 RCs

Doesn't the same thought apply to vets after the trade deadline? Iirc that was March 2. And I do believe players like jagr are gonna have cards in spa I think. Maybe different rules apply to rooks.

Upper Deck had announced that the cutoff date for rookie cards for 2014-15 was January 15th - so anyone making their debut after that will not be eligible for their rookie card appearances until the 2015-16 products start coming out

vets can have updated pictures at any time, it's just a matter of ud getting the new pictures into products and where they are in the production process when the trade happens.
