I just completed the set of 08-09 Black Diamond jerseys, times are tough and I think I am going to have to sell. The set books at around $1500. My question is, should I sell as a complete set? Or in singles? Keep in mind I will be doing this on ebay, so listing fees apply. There are 98 cards in the set.

Any advice is appreciated.

you could try listing as a set with a BIN/BO. if nothing pans out, then start listing individually. problem with selling as a set is you got less people who are interested whereas you could have all kinds of player, set, team collectors scooping up your singles.

Yeah, I guess its just about weighing the time and insertion fees of selling singly vs. the ease of selling as a set but maybe making less total $.

This is the route I would go - I put together the 07/08 Cup Base set and went this route - bad news is I never did get the price I wanted for it so I still have it but at least I didn't give it away for a less and still have the option to break it up if needed.

Generally, I find that selling sets by the single is the best for return. However, on this one given that there would be large number of cards that would not fetch very much it is hard to tell. You might be best to sell it in lots and sell the bigger names individually.
