is their a way from Canada to send money to a US resident and avoid paypal fees?
Is interac an option from a canadian bank to a US bank?

I know on my TD bank app that I can send money globally. I've never tried it though.

Yes, this is the main issue. It still works out to be cheaper to avoid all the global shipping fees but I'm a fan of avoiding all fees if possible.

If you use funds from your Paypal account, the fee to send FF to a US seller is only $2.25 no matter the amount you are sending.

hmm but can I put money into my paypal account from credit card and then send it? I never sell items so I don't typically have money in my paypal account.

You'd need to use your bank account. Using a CC is the reason you're stuck paying the full charges.
