Series 1 Now Out October 18

My local shop told me S1 is now out October 18. Is this true? Hard to believe with products 2 year old still not out :crazy:
 
There has been no update on the S1 release. I highly doubt UD would push it to weeks before Expo. It is set to release on the day the Expo begins, Nov 9th.

Not too be 'that guy'... but the release date was originally November 1st (not the 9th).

And yes, Universal updated their release schedule yesterday to show the new date of October 18th.


Having said all this... I do find it peculiar that the product is not releasing just before The Expo. Perhaps someone smarter than me can chime in on this?
 
Random guess is all the "I can't believe Bedard is not in here" comments will be reduced if released well before Expo.

Cardboard Connection had it moved to Nov 9th yesterday and moved it back to Nov 1st today. I have trouble believing that they'll release it almost a month earlier than usual.
 
Maybe the plan is to move up series 2 and extended the same amount and they want to maintain the same gap between releases… or without printing a separate retail line, maybe it went quicker. Who knows.

I’d rather have it release well in advance of Expo so I can search out what I want easier at Expo.

At the moment I can't confirm 100% because things are always subject to last minute changes, but hopefully at least one other release comes out early November.
 
Funny thing I noticed about the YG checklist is that except for 5 players the majority of the players are in the checklist in the order that they debuted.

I read something here that they arnt doing retail this year.
 
Some of the early pricing is just wacky. $100+ for a Knies YG? $300 for his canvas?? More like $30 each max.
