Personally myself I would try and shop it as a set first for what I was looking for. As was mentioned above there are a select few who have the pockets to buy something like this however if they want it they are more than willing to put out the dollars to get it. I would list for 25% more than I was hoping to get and accept offers. While breaking it up does have it's advantages as mentioned you do run into a situation after all the most desirable cards are moved where you are stuck with the less sought after cards. While you may profit off of the bigger names chances are you will more than likely lose on the lesser names and thus end up with less than you may get selling it as a whole. You can always break it up if it doesn't sell as a whole but bundling a less than full set once the big guns are gone is a lot harder.
