Hi gang,

I'm a comic book newbie completely and thoroughly. My previous collection was limited to just Wolverine copies - I have his first appearence in the 'Incredible Hulk' amongst other comics in my small collection.

I have recently had the good fortune to run into a bunch of Spiderman/Obama comics (The Amazing Spiderman #583) and will be putting them on eBay hoping for a small profit. I had, in fact, run into them when buying a Darth Vader figure, and the dealer had a small pile of them sitting on his table. Needless to say, I picked up a couple - one for me, one for my brother, and three that have no designation right now (I'm looking towards eBay, fast!).

A quick question, however, regarding the packaging of the comic if I was to sell it. How should these comics be packaged? What accessories are the norm?

Much thanks to all the comic book gurus out there, in advance.

Julian :canucks:

If I ship an older low value book (dollar books) I will usually ship in a bubble envelope in a comic bag with multiple back boards on the front and back. If I am shipping a high grade book or an expensive book then I will ship it in a small box in a comic bag with backboards and cardboard on both sides. If its a single comic I might go the same route but use a bubble envelope instead of the box. 90% of the time I go with extra cardboard on each side of the comic.

BTW BBB got a post here looking for one of the Spidey Obama books, drop him a line he might buy one from you.
