Hey guys. I just sold a young guns set which contains 50 cards, so it weighs quite alot.

I was wondering what would be the best way to ship this out. I am sending it within Canada. I am looking for a method that would protect me as a seller. Also, if you could give me a approxamte price on this method that would be great.

Thanks.

I would send it by registered mail. But there are also 2 other forms of trackable mail within Canada.express post which is about 4 days from west coast to east cost.Expidited which is about 7 days west coast to east coast.Registered mail will take about 8-10 days but is by far the most secure. The cost for express post will likely run about $12-$14 plus the cost of insurance if you want more than $100.00.
It cost $.95 per $100.00 extra plus a signature is $1.50.Expidied is a bit cheaper at about $9-$11 with the other extras running about the same.Registered mail is a bit tricky. Some post offices will not allow cards to be sent by registered mail.Since registered mail is meant for documents only. But I am sure we all have done it and will continue to do it.Registered mail is $7.50 pus the cost of postage. So for the set of young guns which you would need to package so they will fit throught that 1 inch slot at the post office will cost probally about $12.00.It gets a signature anyway but you can add insurance. If you cannot package the cards to fit through that 1 inch slot than you are left with only the two choices.Express post or expidited post.Good luck.

No matter how you decide to package the cards (50ct. box for the commons, all of them in top loaders, etc.) get yourself the flat rate XpressPost envelope. The medium sized one should suffice. That way it doesn't matter what the weight is, as long as you get them all in the envelope and can seal it up safely you're good to go. Definitely get extra insurance, varying upon the year. If it's 05-06 add a couple hundred bucks extra to cover that Crosby, if it's 08-09 just an extra $100 will likely do.
