Is it me, or am I the only trader fed up with the time it takes to get mailfrom the US to Canada and vice versa? And why does Canadian Customs get to hold up shipments and continue to delay their arrival to the addressee?
Now, I can understand going from the East coast of the US to the West coast of Canada. It's a very long way! But when I send from Atlanta, Georgia and it is going directly North to St Johns, Newfoundland, I fail to understand why it takes so long (up to 3 weeks) for Customs to complete the mailing.
Amazingly, I have sent from Georgia (United States) to Germany and Switzerland and they have arrived in 5 to 7 days! And I have received packages from that part of the world as well with little or no delay!
In fact, I received a shipment from Moscow and it made it to me in a brown-wrapped package with string tying it together! It wasn't even knotted, only tied in a bow! No tape! Just string! AND it got here in 8 days! And I used to get angry when someone sends in a white envelope!
Anyway, just had to vent after receiving a package today from Newmarket, Ontario that was sent the end of September!
