I know there are some huge shoe collectors around and I am hoping that someone can help me out here.
My brother ended up winning a pair of Lebron shoes - he didn't think much of it and had actually given up on it when they didn't come in for six months or so - well the package came in yesterday and, from the sounds of it, is pretty spectacular.
Shoes are in a plexiglass case with a magnetic lid of some sort - top of box reads as follows:
CONGRATULATIONS ARE IN ORDER.
ONLY FIVE OF THESE EXCLUSIVE VIP PACKAGES WERE MADE AND ONE OF THEM NOW BELONGS TO YOU.

So - if I am understanding everything that he has told me and everything I can see in the photos. This was a contest he entered and won through, I believe, Eastbay Shoes online. There are five of these VIP Packages that were distributed with the LEBRON X+ Shoes. They come in a pretty spectacular box/display and I am assuming are limited to the five packages.
I know nothing about shoes but I know Lebron and I know collectors are nuts.
Does anyone have any information on what these could be worth or where could find out more about them? Any and all help is appreciated.
