Simple question. Regardless of if and when a new CBA is reached, should Bettman and Goodenow be fired? Poll Attached. Mike

I think that they have to be. Even if he gets his cap, Bettman has taken what was once a budding sport, rivalling the NBA in popularity and lead it all the way to near obscurity in the US. Goodenow's job is to get the players the deal possible. So far he's cost them millions of dollars with millions more to be lost when the season is cancelled.

Easy question. While both are employed to represent their unions, they are also employed to produce results. Both men are too narrow-minded and stubborn to be able to perform well in this capacity.

Neither should be fired. Both deserve the Gregor Ilyich Rasputin treatment - choked, poisoned, beaten, stabbed, shot, clubbed and drowned.

Mabye we should forward this thread to the owners and players. Mabye they will get the idea of what the fans think of their leadership. Mike

Well, dont think they should be fired since they are just doing their job.
There will always be people that do things other people are against, keeps a balance in this world...lol, what did i just write??

Vic

Bettman should be fired for the bad things he's done to hockey in the first place.

But Goodenow should be fired for the lockout B.S. - the more I see, the more I think Bettman's trying to salvage what he's got left (not much)... whereas Goodenow is bent on cash cash cash for the rich players.

So, with that said, can Goodenow for sure, but Bettman could probably use "relieved" as well.

Mike
