Should I Buy...

I have my first paycheck coming up soon. I figured I might start getting into the hobby a little bit again, so I thought I would buy some BK Hobby Boxs.

Would you rather get..

TWO 2004-05 Upper Deck Sweet Shot BK Hobby Boxs
ONE 2004-05 Topps JUMBO BK Hobby Box


OR:

ONE 2005-06 SP Game Used BK Hobby Box

?

I would definitely have more to break with the three boxs, but I might pull something really good in the SP Game Used. I don't know what to do.

I would go with the 3 boxes. In the past, the sp game used don't pan out to be much.. maybe $8 BV per.
 
SPGU is usually a make or break, but I'd prefer a box of SPGU over the other 3 boxes. The other 3 boxes will probably be more fun to open, but your likeliness of pulling a money card would come out of the SPGU. I'd say it depends on what matters more to you.
 
Yeah, thank you, you guys. :) I'll have to think it over. Bdavis, didn't you pull a really nice card out of SPGU once? I think like 2 years ago maybe?

Hmm, you may be thinking of the Kobe 3 Color SPGU Patch /100 that I pulled from a pack..
 
Personally I wouldn't buy any boxes, but hey do what you want. Buy singles/autos/patches/gu etc of the players you want, that way YOU GET WHAT YOU WANT, and at least know they will always sell for what you buy them for, if not u lose a little, other than a lot on those boxes, as I recall you quit this hobby because the boxes wasted your money, so why would u go back to them?
 
Yeah, that does make sense Florian. I will do that for a while, to build up a collection again. Thank you! :)
