Ok I know this isn't hobby related but wasn't really sure where to put it. So if the mods need to move that's fine

some of you might know that I compete in powerlifting and primarily benchpressing. I just competed at the canadian championships last week in Prince Edward Island. I set a new canadian record of 275kg or 606lbs in the 120kg class although I only weighed 107.7kg. I couldn't drop the weight in time to get to the 105kg class. I won my class, had the biggest benchpress of the entire nationals and I won the best bencher award.

Anyways this is a video montage of a bunch of lifters but I am the first guy doing my 3rd attempt at 606lbs. I lifted 583 on my first lift, missed 606 on my 2nd and hit 606 on my third

I am off to the world championships in Solden, Austria at the end of May provided I can find some money. I will compete in the 105kg class there and have a legitimate shot at top 3 this year.

Louis-Philippe Jean is from my place and training at the local gym. Did you ever met him?

Over 600lbs is impressive. I've seen a couple guys lifting 500-525 with special clothes, but 600 is another class. Congrats!

Just kidding :) That truly is amazing. Congrats  (just let me know where to send my lunch money so you don't ever have reason to come after me)
