Made a brief stop at the International Centre last night-my poor son had an ear infection so we were only their for one hour.
Thanks very much to the two dealers who gave him a small Mike Modano figure and some SPX singles-greatly appreciated.
Now onto the scans.

Before I leave for the show I always check the mail one last time...just in case.
Just as well I did as our own Ironmanindy sent me two Deep in the Crease cards for my ever growing set.

These I knew about-this one I did not.

This was on my list for the show, which is exactly why I always check the mail before I head out.

Thanks Geoff-you are the best!

Now onto my breaks.

I loved the Pinnacle break. Not a ton of value but its not about the money, its about the cards and my son and I had a ball with this box.

He loves "Shiny" cards and Jerseys and thankfully he opened a couple of the packs that held these:

Seeing he is a Caps fan this made his day.
also pulled Rinks of:
Brendan Morrow
Kris Versteeg (as a Leaf)
Sergei Gonchar

Poor scan but here is our Artist Proof:

Rookies were:
Richard Bachman (Goalie PC)
Dana Tyrell
Bob (Goalie PC)
Jordan Caron

Next up his favourite card from the box and very timely after his Game 7 performance-very tough to scan:

The game used were as follows:
James Van Reimsdyk 466/499 (white swatch)
Jakub Voracek 422/499 (white swatch)
and this one

Kipper Prime 09/25 (Black/white swatch)

Two tough times (no autos)
Wensink
Fotiu

lastly a redemption for a Gaborik Auto-hopefully hard signed!

I love the photograpy in this set and will crack at least another box.

Patrick Roy GU Number Black (/6) 3 color from a Habs jersey.

The scan does not do this justice!

And most importantly, my set Killer.

86/87 OPC Kjell Dahlin-card #15. I was moving these sets into new binders and noticed I was missing this card...considering I thought I "completed" this set in 1995 I guess its really taken me an additional 16 years to complete.

Ironically I also need two cards for my 85/86 OPC set and could only find one (241 Doug Lidster) so if anyone has card #235 from the 85/86 OPC set let me know what you need as that will be my 1979/80 to 1989-90 OPC set run complete.

One final card. This arrived several months ago but since I post mail calls about twice a year I thought i'd show it now.

While I am not a fan of Rangers or Manchester United (Hearts and Newcastle for me) I can never pass up a card of a legend that I have never seen before. I believe its a 1968 AB &C Scottish series card-very hard to find.

He may finish up his career as the greatest sports manager EVER.

I will be posting some more football (soccer) pickups on the other sports thread for those interested.

Hope you enjoyed the show.
