Sketch card value

I'm rather new to the non-sports cards. I have gotten a couple sketch cards on epack and was a little confused on how to ascertain their value. People on that site are like he'll hounds and don't mind pulling a fast one on people so I figured I would ask the nice people of HI.


Is value based on artist - subject - media?

What is the major defining factor between a lower value artist and a higher one?

Is the best option just looking at completed sales on ebay to find a rough range?

sketch cards sales are weird, I could never find a rhyme or reason.
I pickup what i enjoy!
Early on there were big names skaggs, kong etc. there were black and white and full color sketches , multi panel sketches ..that all helped determine a "rough start" of value.
Now , who knows!
