Slow Mail?

I don’t know if it’s just for me or not. But I live in London, ON and I've been waiting for quite a few packages. None have arrived yet. Is anyone else experiencing slow mail? Just wondering is all.

I live in London to! Mail hasn't been that bad. Keep in mind it was just the holidays and the New Year so they had quite a few days off. Hopefully it's just log-jammed.
 
I live in Finland and mail from US/Canada has been madly slow lately... One card was mailed before christmas and it still hasnt arrived (actully anything after that hasnt arrived)

Im in the Sault and my mail has been super slow, coming in and going out..... I dont know whats happening, I have packages sent out before christmas that havent been recieved yet. A good example would be yours accually...... Did you recieve yours from Gary yet? He sent out a few days after me.

I just mailed something (from US) to Newmarket, ON and it only took 4 days. That's got to be a record or something. After the holidays US to Canada mail has been going pretty fast. And as usual Canada to US mail is still slow.

He might have..... he left town on the 22nd and hasnt gotten back yet. I made a deal with him on his way out of town, but then he didnt know when he would be coming back.

Jake, I still haven't got your package either.

That was sent out like Dec 10th-ish was it not?
 
I live in the U.S. and mail has been awful slow lately. I'm waiting for a few packages that were mailed before Christmas. Hopefully I have a big mailday this coming Monday.

Same hear, mail in the US has been super slow it seems. Everything after Christmas seems to be ok, but I am still waiting on mail from a week or two before Christmas as well.
 
Glad to hear I'm not the only one experiencing slow delivery to California...one sent November 26th and another around December 15th haven't arrived...most things from mid-December mailings have finally arrived....

Ya, im pretty mad about this...... Your not the only one either, there's Goavs16, Jaywings, davelebreve, newfie, dearick. Not sure, there may be another also..... I dont really know whats going on but is ****s. I havent been getting any mail for a long time either. Hope you get yours soon, along with the rest of you.

BTW, sorry if I mis-spelt any of your id's..... this was just off the top of my head.

I went doen to the mailbox today, put the key in, opened it and .......... Just some birthday cards :( ....... Hopefuly all the packages I've been waiting for will come tomorow on my birthday :D , but I'd be happy if they came this week!!!!

I'm still waiting for something from mid-November from Western Canada... I know things are slow but I'm starting to wonder if I should give up on hoping for this one. The seller's got a very good feedback rating on ebay so I don't suspect foul play on his part.

From what I can tell and from everything I've heard, most of the slow-ness is getting caught up in western Canada.
 
I got a package from Vancouver on Friday last week. It was sent on Monday or Tuesday, so it got to me in less than five days and I live in Nebraska
 
It's been sort of slow in my area of the GTA - but as far as incomming mail goes, It gets sorted at the main GTA office, then goes to my suburs's area for sorting, then goes to the postal carrier who brings it to the store my mailbox is in, who may or may not sort it that day. All this and it's still mroe reliable than our local mail carrier, who seems to take days off.

When I lived int he Soo, things were far worse. I'd drop things in the mailbox on Say Jan 3rd for example. If things were going through Northern Ontario, no problems. However, things would take between 2-6 weeks to get to Southern Ontario!

In NB - even worse. I used expresspost to send a package to our esteemed Vegaspuck, which took nearly a month to get to him. Not during Holiday season either.

In conclusion, Canadapost is run by slugs. :D
 
Still no mail, but I talked to someone I know who works at the post office and they are way behind. Aparently they are so far behind that when a truck arrives with mail they have to park it in the yard, I think she said they're like over 15 trucks behind. Just thought I'd let everyone know.
