So I ask you... Now or Later?

Hey gang I'm seeking a little direction. I've asked many people this very question and I've gotten 50/50 answers. So I'll ask the best community there is!!

With the new enhanced (and better looking) card database site we've been doing there is still much to fix up (card image wise) before posting all 500,000 cards we have on file. Originally, Seren wanted this up and going By September - but at that time it just was not possible.
So, if you were in my position what would you do?

Upload the site now with 20K of listed cards and just add more in bulk weekly as time goes on. Just by being up and available to people it gets known for it's resources during its "growing" database stages. This process would allow us to start our shows, giveaways and such much sooner than later. "Sooner it's up, sooner it'll be seen."
OR
Wait 1 more year and the database will (at least should) be 2x to 5x bigger but will have to wait longer for our services to get recognized before we can move forward with the extra features for the users.

i think as long as the new data is being added in some sort of recognized pattern, then launch the site sooner..

you don't really want people to go to the website and find the database "incomplete", and stop going.

As someone who works in website builds for a living, I highly recommend you post now as long as you have a firm base, which it seems you have. People understand that images come and lists need to be updated; what is unacceptable is to have too many "coming soon!" pages.

It looks like you guys are already well on your way, so I'd definitely post now.

launch site sooner. people would rather see you updating and taking care of your website showing you care rather than waiting for something that might never happen.
