The app provides you with 50 locks that you can use to make cards untradeable while they're locked. It'll also take you off of the blind trade list if you're on it for that card.
(and if anyone asks, when you search up a specific card, and want to trade for it, there'll usually be a list of 10 or so names on it. This is the blind trade list)
