So…

This place is ridiculously slow and clearly lost the battle to things like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram BUT the real value is the archive of info available if you search. There is a 20 year history of the hobby sitting on this website.

Will younger collectors want any of that info? Who knows? Beckett Magazine used to be the gold standard and now its more of a novelty than anything but looking at the old ones is pretty cool.

I agree with the archived info portion. I've searched for this in old threads and have been pleasantly surprised. Some topics make for some great reading material, even to this day.

HI is still my first page opened every morning while drinking my coffee. I'm with most here, it may not have the traffic like before, but it's "Home" for some reason

While I've been pretty dormant for the past decade, I have seen the happenings on the various FB groups and I have to say, they're not for me. When I finally get around to selling or buying again, it's going to be here, even if the audience is smaller.

I still check in every day as well. It is definitely slower, but remains part of my opening tabs as well. I miss HI not being my one stop for everything hockey hobby related and find it hard keeping up with all the new platforms out there.
