I struggled with the title, most likely due to my Chemistry test that I just wrote! Yuck...multiple choice really hurt this time...
Anyway, I haven't been on much as of late due to school stuff but I still managed to make a few trades and go I went to Trader's Night - which was dead.
The Gaborik auto and Hainsey came courtesy of Tom (Newfie) - excellent trader! THe Gaborik jersey is from the B board (Matt 13/14 - nice guy). The Mahovlich is from eBay and he has the best autograph ever. I really like hte design of the cards as well and am contemplating getting some more (not another set! Ah!). The two football cards (blasphemy I know!) came from a contest held by RAMMSTEIN, so I really have no right to complain. THanks again!
I also received tons of base for a few sets, and all feedback has been left (I believe...). Steve (quincy) told me he was going to finish my Legends Classics base set for a cheap card in return. What do I receive in the mail from him? The entire set of course! What a guy. Now I have a pile of doubles...time to return the favour and give 'em to someone? Thanks again Steve - very nice gesture and an even better person. At least from what I can tell

The next scan has what has put me in a great mood for the past two days.
I went to trade night two weeks ago and answered all three trivia question correctly (What is Jack Adams trophy awarded for, Jennings Trophy awarded for and who was the first black player in the NHL) That got me six packs of Pacific Exhibit. The only worthwhile pull was the DiPenta Blue parallel. I got a bunch of red and yellow backed cards as well - not sure what to do with them though! I also bought two packs of 01-02 BAP SS because he got in some new product, and I got Buke silver and Ronnqvist Gold autographs. Could have been worse...I think.
This week I went again and as usual didn't win the box draw
mad: - haha), and I flubbed up the trivia - so I missed out on that as well! There were only two other people so it was very quiet. No trading either...so I went to the boxes to see if anything was new. There was. I pulled out some numbered cards and singles are all still 80% off, so I was even happier.
For $6.80 CDN I got the bottom six cards, as well as a Delmore Silver /1000. I really like them and I already have a monster stack, so it may be the next undertaking. Sometime....I picked up the Peca Victory Gold parallel because I had heard these were impossible to find - hopefully it brings a bit more than I paid for it? (40 cents).
And now, for the green part of the night - an 02-03 BAP Memorabilia Henrik Sedin Emerald for $4 (10/10). I thought it was a good deal, and I couldn't leave it in the box - so I got it! Not sure if I am trading it yet, just because it is my lowest numbered card at the moment, but I may end up doing just that, as I am not completely sold on the design...
