Ok, well this was a risk and a half but I'm pretty happy with myself, especially since 'lakings331799' is always lurking. For those who don't know, he buys up multiple copies of every UD 500 Goal Club Jersey/Auto that hits the 'bay.
My brother happens to be a huge Nieuwendyk fan, and I've really wanted a top notch auto of his for awhile.
This card sold 2 weeks ago: Nieuwendyk 500 Goal
Last week, I bought this card: Nieuwendyk 500 Goal for me !
Now, I took a pretty big risk here - 0 feedback (I'm just about to leave him his first) - and the card is pictured in one of those screwdowns that are notorious for damaging the cards they hold. Well, the card came today and it's in great shape.
Sorry I don't have a great scan as my scanner is out of range... but this just goes to show you that sometimes it pays to take a risk, even when you're getting a great deal.
