The Sign of The Times set is significantly shorter this year, and is lacking Ovechkin and Lemieux autos. The Marks of Distinction set only has 8 cards but all of them are solid!

Good catch on the Ovechkin - wonder if that theory about him not signing anymore is true as he's always been in this set.

I realize the hobby obsession with Crosby and he's been great up to this point, but it just seems wrong to see him in the mix of a checklist like that. I know that having Crosby in any set only helps with sales and popularity, but sometimes I think he should be left on the outside looking in on some sets.

Overall the checklist seems a little trimmed down, but for a cornerstone product like SPA that may not be a bad thing. With a rookie class like the one we have on hand this year I'm suprised UD didn't do much to amp up the product. IMO I just don't see the RC's holding a solid foundation for any products this year.

Well, 2 Chris Stewarts to chase and 2 SOTTs. This is gonna be easy.... and boring..... but cheap.

I'm a little surprised Hejduk and Smyth aren't signing more. Seems like only Stastny and young guys in every product now for the Avs.

Totally agree with this. Not much to drive this product this year with the Rookie Class. Oh how I wish that this product was the same as it was in 2006/07. LOL. THAT was a fun product.

Hmmm.... looks like they changed a few at the last minute. For the most part, FW RCs are 161-190 and FW AU RCs are 191-250.

Going by the numbering, it looks like these were supposed to be auto'd, but now aren't.

The past 2 years, SPA has always done well break wise. I hope I can get a couple of boxes. I am disappointed at how Pogge and Schniender are not autographed FW cards. That would have helped the set and single sales a great deal.

Not a single Milan Lucic card to chase. Not sure whether to be happy or sad about that. I was kind of hoping for at least a sign of the times single or dual but oh well.
