SPA - what's up with this?

I was just on ebay and noticed a Franson SP Authentic RC numbered to 996.

I didn't believe but the scan shows it. Anyone noticed any of the other rookies that way?

They did the same thing with Duchene's SPx rookie auto... numbered out of 484 instead of 499... not sure what happens there

Maybe the player didn't sign enough. Or they lost or damaged them.

...or the machine they use to number the cards was not dialed properly. Look for three cards numbered 997/996, 998/996 and 999/996.

Dont know the reason why but the number changes from 999 to 996 somewhere between 672 and 778. My guess is some got damaged.

Either they damaged three cards or the last number accidentally got changed.
