I just wanted to drop a line and thank some of the traders I have dealt with in the past couple weeks. I recently decided to start building the 2006-07 Young Guns set as well as start a new Keith Yandle PC and have had great trading success. I don't buy much in terms of new boxes or packs and my trade list has been the same for god knows how long. :|
I work facilities management for a mid-sized Investment Bank with a home office in NYC. I have been very fortunate to keep my job as our company has been doing pretty well, but you all know that this can change at the drop of a hat. As a 25 year old I have plenty to save up for: house, marriage (am I nuts?), kids
crazy: ) vacations, rangers/devils/islanders hockey games, and so on. I do allow myself to enjoy the hobby, but most of my funds are directed to the safer purchase, my pc, and not to the thrill of busting boxes that could leave me with litle to trade.
Ok, so here is the point... thank you very much to the people who took time to look through my trade list and didnt see anything for their collection, but then looked through a second time and found nothing that jumped out as a new prize trader, but looked through it a third time and found just enough so I could get the cards I was looking to acquire. You all have made this hobby very enjoyable to me. If you are one of the people who have dealt with me recently, please give yourself a pat on the back because you deserve one. I did not list any names because I didnt want to embarrass anyone, but mainly because I dont want people chasing after them with their commons
